Ban Tha Chang Spring: Check Access Before Visiting

Conflicting visitor information and redevelopment closure reports mean access must be confirmed before a visit.

Access is the key question

Ban Tha Chang Spring is known as a natural spring destination in the Mu Si area. Current travel sources report a closure for development beginning 8 June 2026, while some destination pages still describe normal visits. We have not independently confirmed a reopening. Do not plan to enter without checking with local authorities.

Why older information can mislead

An older description of swimming, kayaking or daily hours does not establish current access. A map listing can remain visible during construction. Treat old activities as background rather than an invitation to visit now. Avoid travelling there solely on the strength of an undated social photograph.

What to do before travelling

Ask Mu Si Municipality or a local official visitor-information service for the latest status. Request confirmation for your intended date. Do not enter a work area or bypass a closure. We do not publish a reopening date because the current evidence does not establish one.

Choose an alternative

Consider a confirmed museum visit or an approved park activity instead, depending on weather and your route. Check access to the alternative too. If you are staying nearby, use the time for a slower meal or your resort rather than seeking another unverified swimming location.

Visitor reference

Read the source and confirm current details. This guide does not quote live admission prices or opening hours. Check access close to your travel date.
